Melting point/freezing point: -95°C

Additional information

A melting point value of -95°C is reported in the DIPPR 801® Database,is recognised by the AIChE as the accepted melting point for Vinylmethyldichlorosilane. The result has been considered as a key study.

Melting point value of lower than 0°C and >-78°

are reported in different company sources (Crompton 2001,GE Bayer 2003). The original references were not available for review and no further information is available. The reliabilities of these results are not assignable and have become supporting studies.
