Additional information

TBSI is considered hydrolytically unstable based on the available information for a structural analogue TBBS (CAS 95-31-8). The potential degradation products are TBBS (CAS 95-31-8), MBT (CAS 149-30-4) and tert-butylamine (CAS 75-64-9). The half life of TBSI for hydrolysis was estimated to be ca 8 hrs, based on a similar half life that was estimated for the stability against hydrolysis for TBBS.
