Exposure controls / personal protection

Exposure occurs accidentally while handling the substance as an on-site isolated intermediate.

General control measures: Proper ventilation in the working areas.

Respiratory protection: Use protective mask if aerosols are being formed.

Hand protection and skin protection: Compatible chemical-resistant gloves. Wear protective clothing to prevent contact with skin.

Eye protection: Safety goggles or face shield.

Strict control conditions: the substance is manufactured, transported and used within an automated closed system. Facilities are designed and properly maintained to ensure absolute integrity along the circuit. Personnel is qualified and trained. Workers are not expose to the substance during normal conditions, except during sampling when adequate skin and eyes protection is required. Emissions to the environment are not expected and occurs rarely due to equipment failure.

Stability and reactivity

Conditions to avoid: Stable under normal conditions. Avoid high pressures.

Materials to avoid: Strong acids.

Hazardous decomposition products: None

Disposal considerations

Product disposal:

In consultation with the responsible local authority and in compliance with applicable regulations. Must be subjected to special treatment: Neutralization prior disposal.
