Additional information

The substance is stable to hydrolysis at pH 4, pH 7 and pH 9 and its half-life time at 25 °C is more than one year.

In a ready biodegradability study based on O2consumption in 28 days, the substance resulted as not ready biodegradable. Similarly, in an inherent biodegradability study of 28 days, by taking into account O2consumption, observed biodegradation is less than 20 % of the theoretical value. According to the guidelines, the substance is considered as not biodegradable under the test conditions.

Moreover, based on the physicochemical properties, mainly the low octanol water partition coefficient (log Kow = -1.6 at 20 °C and pH 7), the substance is expected to have a low potential for adsorption and bioaccumulation.
