Administrative data

First-aid measures

- Eye: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting lower and upper eyelids occasionally. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Get medical attention immediately.

- Skin: Flush skin with plenty of water and soap while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean shoes before reuse. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.

- Ingestion: Get medical aid immediately. Wash mouth out with water.

- Inhalation: Remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid.

Fire-fighting measures

- General information: As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus, approved or equivalent and protective clothing.

- Extinguishing Media: Use water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or appropriate foam.

Accidental release measures

- General information: use proper personal protective equipment.

- Spills/Leaks: Vacuum or sweep up material and place into a suitable disposal container.

Handling and storage

- Handling: Avoid breathing dust, vapor, mist, or gas. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid contact, especially with eyes. Wash thoroughly after handling. Mechanical exhaust required.

- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Store in a tightly closed container.

Exposure controls / personal protection

- Eyes: Wear appropriate protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles.

- Skin: Wear appropriate protective clothing to prevent skin exposure.

- Respirators: Use European Standard EN 149 approved respirator if exposure limits are exceeded or if irritation or other symptoms are experienced.

Stability and reactivity

- Chemical stability: stable under normal temperatures and pressures

- Materials to avoid: strong oxidizing agents

- Conditions to avoid: incompatible materials

- Hazardous decomposition products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, phosphorus oxides

- Hazardous polymerization: has not been reported.

Disposal considerations

- Waste treatment methods (recommendation): must be specially treated adhering to official regulations.

- Uncleaned packaging (recommendation): disposal must be made according to official regulations.
