Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eye: Flush eye with water. If persistent irritation occurs, get medical attention.
Skin Contact: Wash skin with water and, if available, soap. If persistent irritation occurs, get medical attention.
Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If rapid recovery does not occur, obtain medical attention.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Give nothing by mouth. Get medical attention immediately.
Advice to physicians: Treat symptomatically. If skin sensitisation has developed and a causal relationship has been confirmed, further exposure should not be allowed.
Fire-fighting measures
Fire Hazards: Not Flammable.
Extinguishing Media: Use water fog, foam, dry chemical or CO2.
Protective Measures: Wear full protective clothing and an approved self-contained breathing apparatus if material is in fire area.
Accidental release measures
Personal Precautions: Avoid raising a dust cloud. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves. Use either an atmosphere-supplying respirator or an air-purifying respirator for particulates.
Spill Management: Prevent contamination of soil and water. Do not wash spills into sewers or other public water systems. Prevent further leakage or spillage and prevent from entering drains.
Spill Disposal: Shovel up and place in a labeled, sealable container for subsequent safe disposal.
Handling and storage
Handling Recommendations: Toxic vapours may accumulate in the headspace of the packaging at concentrations that may be immediately dangerous to life and health. When opening containers, workers should be aware of this potential and take necessary precautions to avoid exposure, including use of appropriate respiratory protection (see Section 8).
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Avoid raising a dust cloud.
Do not breathe dust.
Do not eat, smoke or drink in areas where catalyst is present.
Use only in well ventilated areas. Use local exhaust extraction.
Take precautionary measures against static discharge.
Earth all equipment.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed and dry. Reseal plastic liner.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering Controls:
Use adequate ventilation to control exposures to materials to below the established exposure limits.
Hygiene measures:
Avoid raising a dust cloud. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not breathe dust. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Do not reuse clothing if contaminated until thoroughly decontaminated.
Respiratory protection:
Use appropriate respiratory protection. Acceptable protection includes a properly fitted full face respirator with air-purifying up to supplied air depending on local IH judgment for the work task being performed. Be aware that opening containers represents the highest potential for exposure as potentially harmful vapors may accumulate in the headspace. In a confined space self-contained breathing apparatus may be required.
Eye protection:
Dust-tight monogoggles
Hand protection:
PVC, neoprene, or nitrile rubber gloves
Body Protection:
Body-covering workclothes
Stability and reactivity
Stability:
Stable. Hygroscopic.
Materials to avoid:
Strong acids, strong bases, strong oxidizing agents.
Disposal considerations
Product disposal:
Recover or recycle, if possible. Otherwise: Send to an approved contractor for regeneration or metal recovery or dispose with a licensed disposal contractor.
Waste disposal:
If product is unused, see above. If used, evaluate the toxicity and physical properties of the material you have generated and dispose of the material in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
Container disposal:
Empty containers may contain residues. Ensure container is properly cleaned. Remove all packaging for recovery or waste disposal. DO NOT USE CONTAINER FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Regulatory Controls:
Comply with all federal, state and local laws regulating the handling and disposal of wastes.
