Principles of method if other than guideline:
The procedure was based on a modified CIPAC MT 75.3 procedure. The measured value was pH of 1% solution of EDN obtained by absorbing EDN in distilled water to the state of saturation and subsequently diluted to 1% concentration. pH meter FiveGo F2 (Mettler Toledo) with a plastic pH electrode with integrated temperature sensor was used to measure pH; the measurement was performed at 20°C. pH of the obtained solution slightly decreases in time, probably due to the gradual course of hydrolysis reactions of EDN. The result is the measured value obtained immediately after preparation of the solution.
