First-aid measures
· Description of first aid measures
· After inhalation:
Remove person to well ventilated area and follow normal first-aid procedures. Encourage patient to blow nose to ensure clear passage of breathing. If irritation or discomfort persists seek medical attention.
· After skin contact:
Remove contaminated clothes and clean skin carefully with plenty of water and soap.
Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.
If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.
· After eye contact:
Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water.
Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids.
Get medical aid.
Removal of contact lenses after an eye injury should only be undertaken by skilled personnel.
If irritation develops, seek medical advice.
· After swallowing:
Drink plenty of water and provide fresh air. Call for a doctor immediately.
If symptoms persist consult doctor.
· Information for doctor: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
· Extinguishing media
· Suitable extinguishing agents:
Foam, dry chemical powder, carbon dioxide.
Water spray
Bromochlorodifluoromethane (Where regulation permits)
· Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture No further relevant information available.
· Advice for firefighters
• Use water delivered as a fine spray to control fire and cool adjacent area.
• Do not approach containers suspected to be hot.
• Cool fire exposed containers with water spray from a protected location.
• If safe to do so, remove containers from path of fire.
• Equipment should be thoroughly decontaminated after use.
· Protective equipment: No special measures required.
Accidental release measures
· Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
MINOR SPILLS
• Clean up all spills immediately.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• Wear impervious gloves and safety glasses.
• Use dry clean up procedures and avoid generating dust.
• Vacuum up (consider explosion-proof machines designed to be grounded during storage and use).
• Do NOT use air hoses for cleaning
• Place spilled material in clean, dry, sealable, labelled container.
MAJOR SPILLS
• Clear area of personnel and move upwind.
• Alert Fire Brigade and tell them location and nature of hazard.
• Control personal contact by using protective equipment and dust respirator.
• Prevent spillage from entering drains, sewers or water courses.
• Avoid generating dust.
• Sweep, shovel up. Recover product wherever possible.
• Put residues in labelled plastic bags or other containers for disposal.
• If contamination of drains or waterways occurs, advise emergency services continued
· Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.
· Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust).
Ensure adequate ventilation.
Handling and storage
· Handling:
· Precautions for safe handling
• Limit all unnecessary personal contact.
• Wear protective clothing when risk of exposure occurs.
• Use in a well-ventilated area.
• When handling DO NOT eat, drink or smoke.
• Always wash hands with soap and water after handling.
• Avoid physical damage to containers.
• Use good occupational work practice.
• Observe manufacturer's storing and handling recommendations.
· Information about fire - and explosion protection: No special measures required.
· Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
· Storage:
· Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles:
• Polyethylene or polypropylene container.
• Packing as recommended by manufacturer.
• Check all containers are clearly labelled and free from leaks.
· Information about storage in one common storage facility: Store away from oxidizing agents.
· Further information about storage conditions:
• Keep dry.
• Store in original containers.
• Keep containers securely sealed.
• No smoking, naked lights or ignition sources.
• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
• Store away from incompatible materials.
• Protect containers against physical damage.
• Check regularly for leaks.
• Observe manufacturer's storing and handling recommendations.

Exposure controls / personal protection
· Ingredients with limit values that require monitoring at the workplace:
The product does not contain any relevant quantities of materials with critical values that have to be monitored at the workplace.
General protective and hygienic measures:
Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.
· Respiratory protection:
In case of brief exposure or low pollution use respiratory filter device. In case of intensive or longer exposureuse self-contained respiratory protective device.
· Protection of hands:
Protective gloves
The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation. Due to missing tests no recommendation to the glove material can be given for the product/ the preparation/ the chemical mixture. Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation
· Material of gloves
The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. As the product is a preparation of several substances, the resistance of the glove material can not be calculated in advance and has therefore to be checked prior to the application.
· Penetration time of glove material
The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.
· Eye protection: Goggles recommended during refilling
Stability and reactivity
· Reactivity
· Chemical stability
• Presence of incompatible materials.
• Product is considered stable.
• Hazardous polymerisation will not occur.
· Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: No decomposition if used according to specifications.
· Possibility of hazardous reactions No dangerous reactions known.
Disposal considerations
· Waste treatment methods
· Recommendation
• Consult manufacturer for recycling options and recycle where possible .
• Consult State Land Waste Management Authority for disposal.
• Incinerate residue at an approved site.
Recycle containers if possible, or dispose of in an authorised landfill.
· European waste catalogue
Waste Codes are not product specific but application specific.
Waste Codes should be assigned by the User based on the application in which the product is used.
· Uncleaned packaging:
· Recommendation: Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
