Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose of safely. Take affected person to fresh air. Consult a physician if symptoms persist.
After inhalation: Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep him calm.
After contact with skin: In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water
After contact with eyes: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of lukewarm water and seek medical advice
After ingestion : When swallowed seek medical aid immediately and show the physician the packaging or the label of the packaging.
Advice to doctor : Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: water , foam , dry powder , carbon dioxide
In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Carbon monoxide (CO) , Nitrous gases (NOx)
Special protective equipment for firefighting : In case of fire, wear respiratory protection
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Use personal protective equipment. Avoid dust formation. Avoid breathing vapors, mist or gas. Avoid
breathing dust.Unprotected persons have to leave the affected area
Environmental precautions: Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil
Methods for cleaning up/taking up:
Pick up with absorbent material (eg sand, kieselgur, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly, observing environmental regulations . Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Handling and storage
Keep container tightly closed and dry
Do not expose to prolonged heat
Avoid formation of dust and aerosols.
Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed.Normal measures for preventive fire protection.

Exposure controls / personal protection
This substance is exclusively used as an intermediate to be consumed in a chemical reaction for the synthesis of other chemical compounds.
During its lifecycle the substance is handled under strictly controlled conditions and is rigorously contained in accordance Art. 18.
Based on the knowledge of the basic hazards to humans and environment technical, organizational and PPE measures are taken to minimize release and exposure of this substance. National regulatory requirements for the handling of chemicals are also fulfilled. Employees are regularly trained. The efficiency of these measures is controlled e.g. by workplace measurements. In case of deviations these measures are adapted
General protective measures: Do not inhale vapours. Avoid contact with eyes and skin
Hand protection : PVC gloves, 0.5 mm
Eye protection : safety glasses with side protection/face shield
Body protection : working clothes
Respiratory protection: in case of emergency: Particle filter P1, colour code white
Hygiene measures: Keep away from foodstuffs and beverages. Wash hands before breaks and after work.
Stability and reactivity
Hazardous reactions: No hazardous reactions known.
Hazardous decomposition products: Nitrous gases
Disposal considerations
Product: Special waste incineration plant, after consultation with operators
Uncleaned packaging : Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste
