First-aid measures

General advice: Consult a physician.

If inhaled: If breathed in, move person into fresh air.I f symptoms persist, call a physician.

In case of skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off with soap and plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

n case of eye contact: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.

If swallowed: If large quantities of this material are swallowed, call a physician immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: High volume water jet

Specific hazards during firefighting: Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.

Special protective equipment for firefighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Further information:Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.

Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment. Avoid breathing dust. Ensure adequate ventilation.

Environmental precautions: Prevent product from entering drains.

Methods for cleaning up: Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Provide adequate ventilation. Wear personal protective equipment.

Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Avoid dust formation. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed.

Requirements for storage areas and containers: Store in original container. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.

Advice on common storage: No special restrictions on storage with other products.
