Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation
May cause irritation in the respiratory tract, if mist is inhaled.
Remove to fresh air. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration and consult a physician.
Eye contact
May cause irritation with contact
Immediately flush with water until no evidence of chemical remains (at least 15-20 minutes) and consult a physician
Skin contact:
May cause irritation. The extent of irritation will increase with the length of contact time.
Immediately flush with water with sufficient volume until there is nu evidence of the chemical on the affected area
Ingestion:
If person is conscious and able to swallow, have them drink a large volume of water and milk and induce vomiting. Contact a physician
Fire-fighting measures
If exposed to fire and allowed to evaporate to dryness, may support combustion
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Remain upwind.
May use water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical of chemical foam to fight fire.
Combustion products:
Nitrogen oxides, hydrochloric acid and carbon monoxide
Accidental release measures
Land spill:
Contain spill. Use personal protective equipment to prevent contact with eyes, skni and clothing. Avoid routing to water bodies or streams. Take up with absorbent material and place in containers for disposal.
Water spill:
Contain spill. Prevent contact with eyes. Prevent flow to water supplies. Isolate and take up for disposal.
Handling and storage
Storage temperature:
May be stored at ambiant temperatures.
Storage pressure:
May be stored at ambient pressures.
General:
Do not get into eyes and avoid contact with skin or clothing. Do not breathe mist. Wash all contaminated clothing before reuse. Best if stored in plastic of glass. My slightly corrode some grades af stainless steel. Do not eat or drink while handling. Wash thoroughly after handling.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering controls:
Provide controls to prevent misting and to prevent exposure to mists.
Personal protective equipment:
Mist type respirator if exposed to mists
Rubber gloves. Safety glasses or chemical goggles.
Eyewash and safety shower readily available in the immediate area.
Stability and reactivity
General:
Stable at ambient temperatures. Do not expose to high temperatures.
Incompatible materials and conditions to avoid:
Oxidizers should be tested for compatibility before use.
Hazardous decomposition:
Decomposition products have not yet been investigated.
In fire conditions: carbon monoxide, hydrochloric acid and nitrogen oxides.
Disposal considerations
Would not be considered as a RCRA waste if disposed in the form as shipped from SACHEM. Incinerate or dispose according to all federal, state and local regulations.
Do not discharge directly to surface waters.
