Sampling and analysis
- Analytical monitoring:
- yes
- Details on sampling:
- - Sampling method:
Samples analysis were taken from all test concentrations and the control according to the schedule
below.
- Frequency: at t=0 h and t=72 h
- Volume: 0.2 mL ~ 1.0mL (0h), 1.0mL ~ 2.0mL (72h)
At the end of the exposure period, the replicates with algae were pooled at each concentration before sampling,
unless biological results of replicate vessels varied.
Compliance with the Quality criteria regarding maintenance of actual concentrations was demonstrated by running
a test vessel at the highest substance concentration but without algae and samples for analysis were taken at the
start, and at the end of the test period.
Test solutions
- Vehicle:
- yes
- Details on test solutions:
- PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF TEST SOLUTION-
We used hydrogenated icinus (HCO-50) in order to homogenize test substance because test subustance was hardly solved in water.
Firstly the undiluted test solution (HCO-50 concentration :100 mg/L ) was prepared by mixing the medium and test substances, and filtered.
Secondly the test solution which was mixed the undiluted test solution with each test solution was prepared by adding the lack of HCO-50.
Finally test solution prepaird in second stage separated 4 test vessels each concentration and control.
