First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with water. If irritation develops seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,

nitrogen and sulfur together with some soot.

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus and personal protective

clothing should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1).

Isolate spillage. Avoid dust formation. Sweep up spillage or

use industrial vacuum fitted with suitable dust filtration

system. Transfer to suitably labelled containers or by

incineration and dispose of at a landfill site or by

incineration in accordance with local regulations. Wash the

spillage site with water. Avoid discharge to watercourses.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid dust formation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Avoid inhalation. Gloves, goggles, dust mask and full

personal protective clothing should be worn. Take

precautionary measures against static discharges.

Storage: Store in tightly sealed containers in a cool dark place.
