Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep them calm. In
the event of symptoms seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of
water and seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Skin: In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap
and water. Consult a doctor, if skin irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: dry powder, carbon dioxide, alcohol-resistant foam, full
water jet.
Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon and nitrogen may be generated.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear usual firefighting equipment, e.g. self-contained
breathing apparatus and protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Minimise dust generation by dampening with water.
Sweep/shovel with non-sparking tool and transfer into a
suitable container for re-use or disposal.
Wear suitable personal protective equipment (e.g. respirator
with dust filters, suitable gloves and eye
protection).
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid high dust concentrations while handling through the
use of ventilation and other suitable controls. Ensure all
equipment is bonded to prevent static discharge.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated
place. Avoid humidity and sources of ignition.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance will be packaged in 20kg three-layer paper
bags.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: Contact with other chemicals should be avoided.
Chemical reaction with water: None reported.
Dust explosion: Dust generation is possible though minimised by the use of
ventilation and appropriate handling. Dust explosion has not
been determined by test.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
