Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15

minutes.  Hold eyelids apart to ensure rinsing of the entire

surface of the eyes and lids with water.  Seek immediate

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area thoroughly with plenty of water and soap.

Remove any contaminated clothing and footware.  Seek medical

attention if irritation develops or persists.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, dry chemical and foam may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and

sulfur.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Full personal protective equipment and a self-contained

breathing apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1).

Avoid generation of dust. Residue should be moistened with

water and absorbed using sand or vermiculite. Take up spill

and transfer to labelled containers. Dispose of by

incineration in accordance with local regulations. Do not

allow spill to enter sewers or open water systems.

Handling and storage

Handling: Ensure adequate ventilation. Gloves, safety glasses, dust

mask or an approved self-contained breathing apparatus and

protective clothing should be worn.

Storage: Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry, well

ventilated place.

Keep away from sources of ignition and heat and take

measures to prevent electrostatic discharge.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: All the material is consumed in the reaction process

therefore recycling is not possible.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None known

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method at a suitable facility. Waste gas

treatment to remove oxides of sulfur should be fitted.
