Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Instructions for Inhalation :
Remove person to fresh air. If signs/symptoms develop, get
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Instructions for Eye Contact
Flush eyes with large amounts of water. If signs/symptoms
persist, get medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Instructions for Skin Contact :
Wash affected area with soap and water. If signs/symptoms
develop, get medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Instructions for Ingestion :
Do not induce vomiting unless instructed to do so by medical
personnel. Give victim two glasses of water. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical
attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Class A extinguishing agents ( water foam ), CO2
Product arising from burning: SiO2 CO2 CO NOx
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: wear full protective equipment and a self containing
breathing apparatus
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Evacuate unprotected and untrained personnel from hazard
area. The spill should be cleaned up by qualified personnel.
Ventilate the area with fresh air. Contain spill. For
larger spills, cover drains and build dikes to prevent entry
into sewer systems or bodies of water.
Working from around the edges of the spill inward, cover
with bentonite, vermiculite, or commercially available
inorganic absorbent material. Mix in sufficient absorbent
until it appears dry. Clean up
residue with an appropriate solvent selected by a qualified
and authorized person. Ventilate the area with fresh air.
Read and follow safety precautions on the solvent label and
MSDS. Collect the resulting residue containing
solution. Place in a closed container approved for
transportation by appropriate authorities. Dispose of
collected material as soon as possible.
Handling and storage
Handling: Use Instructions :
Avoid eye contact.
Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact.
Avoid breathing of vapors, mists or spray.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash
exposed areas thoroughly with soap and water.
Storage: Storage Requirements:
Avoid contact with water to prevent potentially violent
reaction or fire.
Ventilation:
Keep container in well-ventilated area.
Store away from heat.

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Neutralisation, not specified (A630)
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: In the case of an accidental spillage, the substance is
absorbed by an absorbant material. This residue should be
considered as industrial chemicals waste and disposed of in
an incineration (A660) and preferably in second order
landfills (A650)
