Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Reference
Endpoint:
long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates
Type of information:
experimental study planned
Study period:
After approval by ECHA
Justification for type of information:
Experimental study planned: the substance is registered at Annex IX. Testing for long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates is an Annex IX requirement and, currently, no toxicity to invertebrates data are available. In addition, the substance has low water solubility and effects on aquatic invertebrates were observed in the acute studies with the registered substance. An OECD 211 test is therefore proposed.
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 211 (Daphnia magna Reproduction Test)

Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates data are currently available with the registration substance. Due to the low solubility of the substance, and the toxicity observed in the acute studies, a chronic Daphnia reproduction test in accordance with OECD TG 211 has been proposed.
