Description of key information

The NOEC or EC10 values for amphibians of high quality that have been carried forward for the HC5 & PNEC derivation range between 84.5 and 640 µg Ni/L.

Amphibians:

NOEC/L(E)C10 data are available for three species of amphibians, with values ranging from 84.5 µg Ni/L to 13,147 µg Ni/L, both values from Xenopus laevis (Hopfer et al., 1991).
