F-DIOX Formate is a colourless liquid. The odour is pungent.
Internal company test showed that the substance has a vapour pressure of 185 hPa at 20 °C.
In the flammability test, conducted in a external laboratory, the substance did not show flammability up to 80 °C, temperature at which the pilot flame went up. The substance is therefore determined as not flammable.
The substance is highly reactive and will decompose rapidly in contact with water or with humidity in the air to release of hydrofluoric acid.
