Description of key information

The octanol/water partition coefficient of the substance is log 3.4 at 22 °C., based on the Annex V A8 84/449/EEC test guideline.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
at the temperature of:
22 °C

Additional information

In a GLP octanol/water partition coefficient test (Pharmakon Europe, 1993), conducted according to the Annex V A8 84/449/EEC test guideline, the Log Po/w was determined to be 3.4 at 22°C. The moderate value was supported by a later test (Safepharm Laboratories Ltd., 1998), according to the Annex V A8 92/69/EEC test guideline, which measured the Log Po/w of the substance as 2.78 at 30 °C.
