General information
In the case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible). Ensue that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, and take precautions to protect themselves.
Description of first aid measures
Inhalation
Remove to fresh air. If the affect person is not breathing, apply artificial respiration.
Skin Contact
Wash off with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Eye Contact
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eylids, for atleast 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
IngestionIF SWALLOWED; Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. Have victim rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Never give anything by mouth to a victim who is unconscious or is having convulsions. If vomiting occurs naturally, have victim lean forward to reduce risk of aspiration. If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Skin
Prolonged and/or repeated skin contact may result in mild irritation or redness.
Eyes
Contact with eyes may cause irritation. Symptoms may include stinging, tears, redness, swelling, and blurred vision.
Inhalation
Inhalation of vapours in high concentration may cause shortness of breath (lung oedema).
Ingestion
Ingestion can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed.

Large Spills: Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk. Dike the spilled material, where this is possible. Cover with plastic sheet to prevent spreading. Use a non-combustible material like vermiculite, sand or earth to soak up the product and place into a container for later disposal. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly. Following product recovery, flush area with water.
Small Spills: Wipe up with absorbent material (e.g. cloth, fleece). Clean surface thoroughly to remove residual contamination.
Never return spills in original containers for re-use. For waste disposal, see section 13 of the SDS.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Short-term effects: SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION. Vapor: Irritating to eyes, nose, and throat. May be harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Move victim to fresh air. IF BREATHING HAS STOPPED, give artificail respiration. IF breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. Liquid: MAY BE HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED OR ABSORBED THROUGH THE SKIN. IRRITATING TO SKIN AND EYES. IF IN EYES: immediately flush eyes with running water for at least 15 minutes. Remove and double bag contaminated clothing and shoes at the site. Wash skin wiht soap and water. IF SWALLOWED: Do nothing except keep victim warm. Do not induce vomiting.
Personal protective equipment (PPE): B-Level PPE. Approved respirator, chemical safety goggles, chemical-resistant gloves.
Vapor (gas) irritant characteristics: Eye and respiratory tract irritant. Vapors cause moderate irritation such that personnel will find high concentrations unpleasant. The effect is temporary.
Liquid or solid irritation characteristic: Eye and skin irritant. If spilled on clothing and allowed to remain, may cause smarting and reddening of skin.
This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) for on-site isolated intermediates and, in case the substance is transported to other sites for further processing, the substance should be handled at these sites under the Strictly Controlled Conditions as specified in REACH regulation Article 18(4). Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at each manufacturing site. Written confirmation of application of Strictly Controlled Conditions has been received from every affected Distributor and Downstream Processor/User of the Registrant´s intermediate.
