Description of key information

Exothermic decomposition in the temperature range 140 - 255 °C with energy of 664 J/g was observed. Up to 40 °C no effect on the releasable formaldehyde, pH, density and refractive index within 24 month was observed.

Additional information

In a DSC test according to OECD 113 on thermal stability, an exothermal effect starting at ca. 150 °C was observed. In a second test according to the same guideline, exothermic decomposition in the temperature range 140 -255°C with energy of 664 J/g was observed. In a storage test up to 40°C and up to 24 months, no effects on the releasable formaldehyde, pH, density and refractive index were obtained.
