EC number: 271-240-3 | CAS number: 68526-92-1 A complex combination of hydrocarbons produced by the distillation of products from the hydrogenation of isotridecanal from the hydroformylation of dodecene. It consists predominantly of C10-12 olefins and paraffins and C13 alcohols and aldehydes and boils in the range of approximately 160°C to 253°C (320°F to 487°F).

With respect to aquatic bioaccumulation it can be concluded that the substance may have bioaccumulation potential based on the measured log Kowvalues (>6.2, indication for 7.6-8.3), however this cannot be supported through calculations due to the nature of the substance (UVCB). Also, based on the uses of the substance and the risk mitigation measures (RMMs) in place, it is not expected to be released to a significant extend into the environmental compartment.
Based on the available toxicity and above information, bioaccumulation potential is not deemed relevant and, hence, secondary poisoning is not further considered for this substance.
