Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information:
In case of accident or if you feel unwell seek medical advice (show label or SDS where possible).
After inhalation:
Provide fresh air.
After contact with the skin:
Wash with plenty of water or water and soap. In the event of a visible skin change or other complaints, seek medical advice (show
label or SDS where possible).
After contact with the eyes:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Seek medical advice in case of continuous irritation.
After swallowing:
Give several small portions of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Any relevant information can be found in other parts of this section.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
No data are available.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media:
water spray , water mist , extinguishing powder , alcohol-resistant foam , carbon dioxide .
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons:
water jet .
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Risk of hazardous gasses or fumes in the event of fire.
Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for fire fighting:
Use respiratory protection independent of recirculated air.
Accidental release measures
Obtain appropriate PPE, supplies, and equipment prior to attempting any response.
Environmental precautions
Prevent material from entering sewers or surface waters. Observe local/state/federal regulations.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Absorb with a liquid binding material such as diatomaceous earth and dispose of according to local/state/federal regulations.
Reference to other sections
Relevant information in other sections have to be considered. This applies in particular for information given on personal
protective equipment (section exposure controls/personal protection) and on disposal (section Disposal considerations).
Handling and storage
Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing dust/vapor/mist/gas/aerosol. Use with adequate ventilation.
Precautions against fire and explosion:
Keep away from open flames, heat and sparks. Cool endangered containers with water. Take precautionary measures against
electrostatic charging.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Conditions for storage rooms and vessels:
Do not store in containers coated with zinc.
Advice for storage of incompatible materials:
Do not store with: oxidizing agents , strong acids .
Further information for storage:
Keep container tightly closed and store in a cool, well ventilated place. Protect against sun.
Specific end use(s)
No data are available.

Exposure controls / personal protection
-
Exposure controls
Exposure in the work place limited and controlled
General protection and hygiene measures:
Do not eat, drink or smoke when handling. Wash hands at the end of work and before eating. Keep away from foodstuff, drink and
feedingstuff.
Personal protection equipment:
Respiratory protection
-
Hand protection
protective gloves .
Eye protection
tight fitting protective goggles .
Exposure to the environment limited and controlled
Prevent material from entering surface waters and soil.
Further information for system design and engineering measures
Observe information in section handling and storage.
Stability and reactivity
reactions are known.
Relevant information can possibly be found in other parts of this section.
Conditions to avoid
none known
Incompatible materials
Reacts with: oxidizing agents , lyes .
Hazardous decomposition products
If stored and handled properly: none known .
Disposal considerations
Material
Recommendation:
Dispose of according to regulations by incineration in a special waste incinerator. Observe local/state/federal regulations.
Uncleaned packaging
Recommendation:
Uncleaned containers should not be reused to hold another material due to the potential for reaction between residual product
and incompatible materials. Uncleaned packaging should be treated with the same precautions as the material. After emptying
contaminated containers may be cleansed and recycled.
