First-aid measures

General advice:
Remove contaminated clothing.

If inhaled:
If difficulties occur after dust has been inhaled, remove to fresh air and seek medical attention.

On skin contact:
Wash thoroughly with soap and water.

On contact with eyes:
Wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eyelids held open.

On ingestion:
Rinse mouth and then drink plenty of water.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:
Water spray. Carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder, or appropriate foam.

Special protective equipment:
Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.

Specific hazards: Emits toxic fumes in case of fire conditions.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:
Avoid dust formation. Wear respirator, chemical safety goggles, rubber boots, and heavy rubber gloves.

Environmental precautions:
Contain contaminated water/firefighting water. Do not discharge into drains/surface waters/groundwater.

Methods for cleaning up or taking up:
Sweep up, place in a bag and hold for waste disposal. Avoid raising dust. Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pickup is
complete.

Breathing must be protected when large quantities are decanted without local exhaust ventilation.

Further information on storage conditions: Store in unopened original containers in a cool and dry place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Personal protective equipment:

Respiratory: NIOSH/MSHA or European Standard EN 149 approved full-facepiece airline respirator in the positive pressure mode
with emergency escape provisions.

Hand: Compatible chemical-resistant gloves

Eye: a face shield with chemical splash goggles

General hygiene measures:
Wash thoroughly after handling. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

Stability and reactivity

Materials to Avoid: Strong oxidizing agents.

Hazardous decomposition products:
Carbon monoxide, Carbon dioxide,Nitrogen oxides, Sulfur oxides, Thermal decomposition may produce toxic fumes of
phosphorus oxides and/or phosphine.

Disposal considerations

The generation of waste should be avoided or minimised wherever possible.

Dispose of surplus and nonrecyclable products via a licensed waste disposal contractor.

Disposal of this product, solutions and any by-products should at all times comply with the requirements of environmental protection and waste disposal legislation and any regional local authority requirements.

Avoid dispersal of spilled material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and sewers.
