Results and discussion

Solubility in organic solvents / fat solubility
Medium:
other: coconut oil
Solubility:
ca. 1 - ca. 99 vol%
Temp.:
37 °C
Test substance stable:
yes
Details on results:
After the test period, it was evident that T-1640L was effectively miscible in all proportions with coconut oil. A single phase was observed in samples 1 to 9, but some separation was evident on standing for samples 10 and 11 and it was considered that the low proportion of oil did not allow adequate mixing (these samples did form a paste when mixed with a glass rod). No further testing was considered necessary.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
T-1640L was found to be effectively miscible in all proportions with fat.
