Details on results:
- In most of the chromatograms of the water samples from both the preliminary test and the main study, no significant test substance peaks were observed. Hence, the water solubility of all the constituents and impurities of KY-ET was determined to be below the limit of detection.
- Using the standard solutions from the quantitative analyses, the limit of detection was determined on each day of analysis
- The limit of detection was determined to be < 2 µg/L
- The chromatograms of the samples taken from the blank column at 20 degrees Celsius did not show any peak with the same retention as the substance

Using the column elution method the water solubility of the substance was determined in accordance with OECD 105 (1981), EU Method A.6 (1984) and according to GLP principles. The water solubility of the substance was determined to be < 2 µg/L at 20 degrees Celsius.
