Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eye contact : Immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water. If irritation develops, seek medical attention.
Skin contact : Wash affected areas with soap and water. If irritation develops, seek medical attention. Remove and launder contaminated clothing before reuse.
Inhalation : Move to fresh air. Aid in breathing if necessary and seek medical attention.
Ingestion : If swallowed, dilute with water and immediately induce vomiting. Never give fluids or induce vomiting if the victim is unconscious or having convulsion.
Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media :
- Water spray, carbon dioxide, foam, dry powder extinguisher.
- Not suitable: water jet.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
- Flammable limit : Not applicable, not highly flammable.
- Hazards decomposition products : CO, CO2, etc.
Advice for firefighters
- Fire fighting protective equipment : A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing must be worn in fire conditions.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Do not touch the leakage, and do not walk on it.
Prohibit unauthorized entry into the area.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and avoid inhalation or contact with eyes and skin.
If not wearing an appropriate personal protective clothing, do not touch the damaged container and leakage.
Respiratory protection : Respirators should be worn to avoid breathing pigment powder.
Hand protection : Use latex or neoprene gloves.
Eye protection: Use safety glasses or full face shield where splashing is possible.
Skin and body protection: Protective suit, apro and boots.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Handling : Use with adequate ventilation. Use suitable protective equipment. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhaling dust.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Storage : Keep container tightly closed and keep away from moisture.
Packaging material: Paper bag (inner polyethylene bag)
Specific end use(s) : No information available
