First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures
• General information: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.
Do not leave affected persons unattended. Supply fresh air.
• After inhalation: Supply fresh air. Keep quiet and at rest. Consult doctor in case of complaints.
• After skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. Remove contaminated clothing.
If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.
• After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Then consult a doctor.
• After swallowing: Seek immediate medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
• Suitable extinguishing agents: CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.
• For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents: Water with full jet
• Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture : In case of fire, the following can be released: Nitrogen oxides (NOx) and carbon oxide (CO).
Advice for firefighters:
• Protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.
Do not inhale explosion gases or combustion gases. Wear protective clothing.
• Additional information: Dispose of fire debris and contaminated fire fighting water in accordance with official regulations.
Collect contaminated fire fighting water separately. It must not enter the sewage system.
Cool endangered receptacles with water spray.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures.
Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away.Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion. Avoid contact with product.
• Environmental precautions:
Do not allow product to reach sewage system or any water course.
Inform respective authorities in case of seepage into water course or sewage system.
Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.
• Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Pick up mechanically. Shovel into metallic container. Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion.
Do not use sawdust.
Dispose of the material collected according to regulations.
• Reference to other sections No dangerous substances are released.
Handling and storage
Handling:
• Precautions for safe handling
Prevent formation of dust. Open and handle receptacle with care.
Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace.
• Information about fire - and explosion protection:
Remove ignition sources. Do not smoke.
Emergency cooling must be available in case of nearby fire.
Storage:
Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place.
Do not store with food.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Control parameters:
• Ingredients with limit values that require monitoring at the workplace: Not required.
• Additional information: no
Exposure controls:
• General protective and hygienic measures:
The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals.
Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed.
Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing.
Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.
Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.
• Personal protective equipment:
Respiratory protection:Suitable respiratory protective device recommended in case of exposure. Filter P3
Protection of hands: Protective gloves
The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation.
Due to missing tests no recommendation to the glove material can be given for the product/ the preparation/
the chemical mixture.
Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the
degradation.
Material of gloves: The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality
and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Penetration time of glove material: The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be
observed.
Eye protection: Safety glasses.
Body protection: Protective work clothing.
Stability and reactivity
Stability and reactivity: Stable under normal use and ambient conditions.
Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: No decomposition if used according to specifications.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: No dangerous reactions known.
Conditions to avoid: Stable under normal use and ambient conditions.
Incompatible materials: No incompatible materials known.
Hazardous decomposition products: No dangerous decomposition products known.
Disposal considerations
• Waste treatment methods:
Recommendation:
Hand over to hazardous waste disposers.
Must not be disposed together with household garbage. Do not allow product to reach sewage system.
Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
• Uncleaned packaging:
Recommendation: Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
