Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The vapour pressures of the Intermediate CHIMEXANE NB/10 were determined as 8.2mbar at 20 °C (extrapolation) and 142.7mbar at 70 °C.

The measured values for pressure P and temperature T,which were performed in a temperature range of 39-87°C,were used to calculate six pairs of log P and 1/T. These values were plotted and the vapour pressures of the test item were calculated from the linear regression of the curve.

The correlation coefficient r being -0.9974, the linear regression was considered good.

The data comes from a certificate of analysis, with a few experimental details. The purity was not specified. Therefore the study was considered as not assignable but the result was used in a Weight of evidence approach.
