Administrative data
First-aid measures
In case of inhalation: Take the affected person into the fresh air.
In case of skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose off safely. Wash with plenty of soap and water.
In case of contact with eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice.
After ingestion: Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Get medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Water, foam, dust or CO2.
Special hazards: Combustible. Can be released in case of fire: toxic fumes or vapors. Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and personal protection equipment.
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions: Do not allow contact with soil, surface or ground water.
Personal precautions: Do not breathe dust. Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection.
Methods for cleaning up: Use broom or vacuum to remove dust. Use appropriate container.
Handling and storage
Handling: No special measures are required. Wear protective gloves and eye/face protection.
Storage: Collect in closed containers for disposal. Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place away from oxidizing agents and alkalis.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Personal protection equipment:
Respiratory protection: Recommended.
Hand protection: Recommended.
Eye protection: Recommended.
Hygiene measures: Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Wash hands before breaks and after work. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
We declare that the manufacture of this substance and the synthesis of other substance from this intermediate takes place under strictly controlled conditions during its whole lifecycle as described under Article 18(4) and Section 2.1 of the Guidance for Intermediates.
Effectiveness:
Prevention of exposure since the substance is rigorously contained by technical means during its whole lifecycle and procedural and control technologies are used to minimise emission and any resulting exposure as described under Article 18(4).
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid: To assure the product’s safety, avoid exposition to heat and dampness.
Materials to avoid: Reacts with alkalis and oxidizing materials.
Hazardous decomposition products: When heated to decomposition, emits toxic CO fumes.
Disposal considerations
Product: Do not allow contact with soil, surface or ground water. Use appropriate containers. Waste disposal according to official state regulations.
Containers: Handle contaminated packaging in the same way as the substance itself.
