Thermal Stability

The DSC-measurement in a closed glass crucible with the test item showed no exothermic effect up to the end of the measurement at 250 °C. The course of the baseline indicated a pressure rise. The measurement was stopped at 250 °C to prevent a burst of the crucible.

The DSC-measurement in a closed steel crucible with the test item showed a exothermic effect in the temperature range 105 – 185 °C with an energy of 57 J/g. No further exothermic effects were observed up to the final temperature of the measurement (500 °C).

A graphicalpresentationof the DSC run No. 31763 (glass crucible) is given on page 7 (figure 1). A graphical presentation of the DSC run No. 32269 (steel crucible) is given on page 8 (figure 2).

Explosive Properties

The heat of decomposition was below 500 J/g. Therefore the test on explosive properties was not necessary.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non explosive
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
The heat of decomposition was below 500 J/g. Therefore the test on explosive properties was not necessary.
Executive summary:

The test item has no explosive properties in the sense of the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A.14.and in the sense of theEPA Product Properties Test Guideline OPPTS 830.6316.
