In contact with water the substance will hydrolyse slowly.

A GLP-guideline study according to EEC-Directive 84/449 EEC, Annex V, Part C, Methods for the determination of Ecotoxicity, C.10: "Abiotic degradation: Hydrolysis as a function of pH" has been conducted (RCC Notox BV 1993a). The results showed, that the test item is hydrolytically stable at pH 4, 7 and 9, under the conditions of the test.
