Description of key information

In a GLP study according to OECD TG 102 (1995) and EC method A.1 (2008) using a capillary tube in metal block, the melting range of Cyclohexane, 5-isocyanato-1-(isocyanatomethyl)-1,3,3-trimethyl-, homopolymer, caprolactam-blocked was determined to be 134.2 to 159.6 °C at 1019 hPa.

159.6 °C

Additional information

The substance is known to decompose (thermal cleavage of blocking agent) in the temperature range where melting was observed. This decomposition could not be observed in this study.
