Description of key information
In accordance with the Column 2 adaptation of Annex VII of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH), it is considered justified to omit the flash point study (required under point 7.9) as the study is not required for inorganic substances. Furthermore, as stated in the principles of the test in the test guideline EU Method, A.9, the flash point is applicable to liquid substances whose vapours can be ignited by ignition sources. As the substance is a solid, testing is also omitted in accordance with point 2 (Testing is not technically possible) of Annex XI of the same regulation.
