Figure 1 in the attached report shows the correlation between injected test substance volume and the self-ignition temperature for all 3 tests. The self-ignition temperature for DC 5067 was 246°C (lowest determined self-ignition temperature), with an injection volume of 175 +-1 and a time lag of 5 s (see Table 1).

Table 1: Summary of results

Test Number Self-ignition temperature [°C] Injected volume [µl]  time lag [s]
Part 1 test1 250 175
Part 2 test 1  254  175
test 2  246  175  5

In conclusion, DC 5067 is auto-flammable under the conditions of the test, with a self-ignition temperature of 245°C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
DC 5067 is auto-flammable under the conditions of the test, with a self-ignition temperature of 245OC.
Executive summary:

The determination of the auto-flammability of DC 5067 was performed in accordance with EEC-Directive A-15: "Auto-flammability (determination of the temperature of self-ignition of volatile liquids and gases)", September 1984 and DIN 51794: Bestimmung der Zündtemperatur", January 1978. The test was performed in triplicate. A lowest self-ignition temperature of 246°C was found under the conditions of the test, with an Injection volume of 175 µl. In conclusion, DC 5067 is auto-flammable with a self-ignition temperature of 245°C.
