Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give
oxygen. Seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical
attention if irritation persist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water. Seek medical
attention if necessary.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Get immediate medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Use water mist, dry chemical powder, carbon dioxide, foam
and dry sand.

If possible, move product to safe place.

Product arising from burning: Combustion of the product may generate oxides of carbon and
nitrogen

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and appropriate
personal protective equipment.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and ventilate
area during the clean up operation.

Keep spills and runoff material away from drains, surface
and ground water and soil.

If small amount is spilled, wipe or vacuum up. For large
spillage, moisten material with water and place it in
covered container. Collect material for disposal and wipe or
vacuum up any residual trace.

Handling and storage

Handling: General industrial hygiene practice for handling chemicals
should be observed.

Keep away from heat and sources of ignition. Use appropriate
personal protective equipment: rubber or vinyl gloves,
safety goggles and overall. Clothing should be laundered
before re-use.

Use in a well-ventilated area.

Care should be taken to avoid dust generation. Explosion-
proof electrical equipment is recommended if high dust
concentration is generated.

Storage: Store in a well-ventialed area at ambient temperature. Keep
in a tightly closed container, away from direct sunlight and
sources of ignition.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The ribbon and bobin will be within the cartridge that is
wrapped in either a clear plastic bag or an aluminium bag.
