Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
but if exposed to dust, move to area of fresh air and seek
medical advice if signs of discomfort.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes. Seek medical advice if signs of discomfort.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and
wash before re-use. Seek medical advice if signs of
dicomfort.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink milk or water and seek medical advice if signs of
discomfort. The induction of vomiting is not recommended.
Fire-fighting measures
agents. Agents such as dry chemical, carbon dioxide, foams
and water spray are acceptable. If water is used, the fate
of run-off water and combustion products must be considered.
Product arising from burning: Normal combustion will lead to the formation of carbon
dioxide and nitrous oxides. Incomplete combustion (with lack
of oxygen) may lead to the formation of complex
carbon/nitrogen products. Nitrous acids may be formed in the
presence of water.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Suitable for protection against acids and organo-nitrogen
compounds, to include face mask, neoprene gloves, breathing
aparatus and coveralls.
Accidental release measures
labelled containers. PPE should be used as recommended when
handling the substance, including breathing aparatus in
confined areas.
The area can be washed with water, but care should be take
to avoid run-off into non-controlled drainage systems or
water courses.
Handling and storage
way as to avoid the generation of dust. In common with
other organic powders, the risk of dust explosion cannot be
ignored and care should be taken to avoid sources of
ignition such as static discharge.
Appropriate PPE in accordance with recognised EN, or other
recognised standards should be provided to prevent
unecessary contact with skin, eyes or by inhalation.
Storage: Store dry, under cool conditions (0 - 30°C).
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The product/preparation is packed in plastic tubes or other
containers containing between 1 g and 2 kg of the
preparation.

Stability and reactivity
strong oxidising or reducing agents.
Chemical reaction with water: Not violently reactive in water.
Dust explosion: Not known to be susceptable to dust explosion, but in common
with most organic solids, this danger cannot be ignored for
the substance.
Dust explosivity is not applicable to the preparation.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
