Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
177 °C

Additional information

The flash point was determined using a closed cup equilibrium method, EU Method A.9. The test flame was introduced into the sample cup for approximately 2 seconds and observations were made for ignition of the vapour. If no ignition occurred, the temperature was increased and the test flame reintroduced. A blue flash spread across the sample cup at 177 °C and higher temperatures. The flash point has been determined to be 177 ± 2 °C.
