Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove promptly to fresh air. If not breathing, administer
artificial respiration. Administer oxygen if breathing is
difficult.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush immediately with copious amounts of water or saline,
including under eyelids. If irritation continues, seek
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water. Remove contaminated
clothing.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice if adverse
reaction occurs and persists.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, dry powder, carbon-dioxide, foam.
Product arising from burning: None known, but may produce toxic fumes including oxides of
carbon, hydrogen bromide, gaseous bromine and/or other
bromides.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Full protection by suitable clothing and positive pressure,
self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear personal protection. Collect spillage in a dry state
where possible (eg. vacuum) and place in a suitable
container for proper disposal. Avoid wet waste discharge to
drains/surface water.
Handling and storage
Handling: The substance should be used only in well ventilated work
areas, by trained process operators wearing protective
clothing, gloves and dust masks (eg. North Twin cartridge
RP12).
Storage: Cool (< 10 degrees C, where possible) and protect from
light.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: To be packaged in 301 sealed fibre drums, which are double
antistatic lined.
