At macroscopic examination there was scabbing and/or
necrosis in 4 males and 5 females and bruising in one
female. These findings are considered to be indicative of an
irritant effect of the test substance. There were no other
compound-related findings.
Other findings:
Signs of toxicity (local):
Erythema, oedema, scabbing, skin sensitive to touch,
thickening, bruising and possible (equivocal) necrosis. Due
to the severity of the irritation, all animals were humanely
killed on day 4.
