Administrative data
First-aid measures
- After inhalation: remove the person to fresh air and keep him at rest. In the event of breathing difficulties, give artificial respiration. Call a physician immediately.
- After skin contact: quickly remove soiled clothing, wash thoroughly with soap and water for several minutes. Call a physician.
- After eye contact: Wash immediately and thoroughly for 15 min with water. Consult an ophthalmologist.
- After ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Do not give anything by mouth. Call a physician immediately.
- Protection of rescuers: refer to section "Exposure controls/Personal protection".
Instructions to Physician: Treat symptomatically. Keep under medical supervision
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing agents: CO2, powder, foam, water spray.
Special hazards: on combustion may produce toxic fumes of NOx, SOx, COx.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water jet.
Special protective equipment for firefighters: Full protective clothing and breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment: refer to section "Exposure controls/Personal protection".
Emergency procedures: remove all sources of ignition, ensure sufficient ventilation, fight against vapors, and evacuate the area at risk.
Environmental protection precautions: Do not discharge into the sewer or into the natural environment.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
- Recovery: recover in a sealed container
- Disposal: refer to section "Disposal Considerations".
Handling and storage
HANDLING
Appropriate technical measures:
- Capture the vapors at the source, ventilate the premises.
- Avoid the formation of a cloud of suspended particles and vapors.
- Earth the containers.
Recommendations against fires and explosions:
- Avoid the formation and deposition of vapors, capture the vapors at the source.
- Inert the installation if the product is loaded in a solvent.
- Earth the containers.
- Keep away from any source of ignition.
Advice on occupational hygiene:
- Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke in the work areas.
- Wash hands and face after each use.
- Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering a catering area.
STORAGE
Appropriate technical measures: Store in a well ventilated area.
Storage conditions :
- Recommended: store in a ventilated and dry place; away from sources of heat and ignition and on retention.
- Avoid: source of ignition (flame, heat, spark, etc.).
Incompatible materials: strong acids.
Packing materials:
- Recommended: plastic.

- Hand protection: gloves (nitrile, latex, vinyl) certified to EN374-3.
- Eye / face protection: safety glasses.
- Skin and body protection other than hands: Standard model of work clothes.
Precautions to be taken: avoid the formation of vapors.
Advice on occupational hygiene:
- Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke in the work areas.
- Wash hands and face after each use.
- Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering a catering area.
Specific advice relating to personal protective equipment against fire and chemical risks: refer to section "Fire fishting measures".
