Substance type:
organic
Conclusions:
The substance can be described as colorless viscous syrup , though it is basically possible to isolate it as solid. Due to its strong hygroscopic (result from study report on skin irriation) chracteristics it can be handeld only under protection gas. Smallest amounts of water changes obviously the melting point below < 20°C
For practical use and commercial distribution the substance is present as > 50% aq. solution
Executive summary:

The substance is described as colorless viscous syrup.

Description of key information

The substance can be described as colorless viscous syrup , though it is basically possible to isolate it as solid. Due to its strong hygroscopic chracteristics it can be handeld only under protection gas. For practical use and commercial distribution the substance is present in market as  > 50% aq. solution with ~34 -50% Water

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Physical state at 20°C and 1013 hPa:
liquid
