Specific details on test material used for the study:
Batch No.: 465884
Purity: 100%
Atm. press.:
1 013.25 hPa
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
> 200 °C

An endothermic effect was observed between 100℃ and 150℃ followed by an endothermic and exothermic effect starting at 200℃. The extrapolated onset temperature of the first endothermic effect was 125.542℃. The endothermic effect was most likely obtained due to melting of the test item. The second endothermic and exothermic effect were due to reaction and/or decomposition of the test item.

After the experiment, a red/brown molten residue remained in the sample container (original colour: white to off-white to slightly yellow). Based on this visual observation, it was found that the test item had molten and the change of the colour demonstrated reaction and/or decomposition of the test item.

Conclusions:
Reaction and/or decomposition of the test item was observed during DSC experiments starting at 200℃ (473K). Boiling of the test item was not observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or decomposition started. Based on this, the test item has no boiling temperature.
Executive summary:

The boiling temperature of test item were determined by DSC according to OECD 103.

Reaction and/or decomposition of the test item was observed during DSC experiments starting at 200℃ (473K). Boiling of the test item was not observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or decomposition started. Based on this, the test item has no boiling temperature.
