Any other information on results incl. tables

Accuracy checking:

The accuracy of the instrument was checked by determining the melting point of a certified sample of benzoic acid ( certified melting point: 123.0°C ±0.3°C).

The results were:

First determination: 122.7°C

Second determination: 123.0 °C

Third determination: 123.0 °C

Boiling point determination:

While performing the first determination, we could identify few bubbles forming at 341°C, but the substance solidified immediately after, therefore the boiling temperature could not be determined. A second determination was not performed as the same result was obtained in the preliminary test.

Correction to normalized pressure:

As the boiling point of the substance couldn’t be determined due to its solidification, a correction to normalized pressure was not necessary.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The boiling point of Octenyl Decenoate couldn’t be determined as the substance solidifies (possible polymerization) from 614 K (341°C).
Executive summary:

The boiling point of Octenyl Decenoate was measured according to OECD Guideline No. 103 (principle according to Siwoloboff). The result can be expressed as follows:

The boiling point of Octenyl Decenoate couldn’t be determined as the substance solidifies (possible polymerization) from 614 K (341°C).
