Results and discussion

Flammable solids
Key result
Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Executive summary:

Two parallel preliminary runs for flammability test were performed. The experiments showed negative results (the test item melted and then ignited only while the gas burner flame was on it; the melt of the test item had no sustained ignition and no further propagation. Based on these results and according to the relevant test guideline, no further experiment (main test) was required.

The test item was non-flammable under the conditions of this test.
