Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Take affected persons into fresh air and keep at rest.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. In case
irritation occures, consult a doctor.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Immediately rinse with water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse mouth several times with water. Seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Suitable extinguishing agents: Use local available
extinguishing agents.
Product arising from burning: Thermal decomposition products:
During heating or in case of fire poisonous and/or corrosive
gases are produced: Carbon monoxide (CO), Nitrogen oxides
(NOx), sulphur oxides.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear CSPG/Fire-
protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Person-related safety precautions:
Wear protective equipment (see 2.3.00). Keep unprotected
persons away.
Measures for environmental protection: No special measures
required.
Measures for cleaning/collecting:
Shovel up. Cover the spilled material with a layer of foam
to prevent spreading. Only flush away very small remainder
to sewage system. Collect spilled material in a suitable
drum and remove it as chemical waste.
Handling and storage
Handling: Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace.
General protective and hygienic measures:
Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed. Handle
material in accordance with company guidelines.
Respiratory protection: Filter P2 (cap).
Protection of hands: Solvex plus.
Material of gloves: Nitrile rubber.
Penetration time of glove material: Breakthrough time: > 240
minutes.
Eye protection: Face shield.
Body protection: Not required.
Storage: Recommendations for storage and storerooms:
Keep packaging tightly closed. Store at roomtemperature (16
- 30°C). Protect from direct sunlight. Keep dry.
Information about storage in one common storage facility:
Store away from oxidizing agents.
Further information about storage conditions: No specific
requirements.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Material is packed in black plastic bag in cardboard box. 5
kg per unit.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: Stability: Stable under normal conditions.
Conditions and materials to be avoided: Keep away form
direct (sun)light.
Hazardous reactions: No hazardous reacties are known.
Hazardous decomposition products: No dangerous decomposition
products known.
Chemical reaction with water: None.
Dust explosion: Since the test substance is a powder, dust explosion is
possible. However, this was not further investigated.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
