- Expiration date of the lot/batch: 31 December 2022 - Key result
- Water solubility:
- 0.134 mg/L
- Conc. based on:
- test mat.
- Temp.:
- 20 °C
- pH:
- 7.2
- Remarks on result:
- other: Mean concentration obtained from flow rates of 12 and 24 mL/h.
- Details on results:
- The coefficient of variation (CV) (n = 10) at both flow rates was less than 30 % (14 and 10 % for flow rates 12 and 24 mL/h, respectively). It demonstrated that the system was equilibrated at all flow rates.
The maximum difference (MD) on the mean values of the samples at both flow rates was also less than 30 % (22 % was calculated). Based on this the water solubility of the test item is given as the mean value of these measurements.
The turbidity of the eluates was <0.2 NTU. According to this, no undissolved particles were detected in the eluates.
Small responses at the retention time of the test item were detected in the chromatograms of the pretreated samples from the blank column. The maximum contribution to the samples was 3.8 %. It was considered that it has no significant effect on the results of the test samples. - Conclusions:
- The column elution method was applied for the determination of the water solubility of the test material. The water solubility of the test item at 20 °C was 0.134 mg/L. The pH of the aqueous samples was 7.2.
- Executive summary:
The study was performed based on procedures in the OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility); EU Method A.6 (Water Solubility); EPA OPPTS 830.7840 (Water Solubility). The column elution method was applied for the determination of the water solubility of the test material. The water solubility of the test item at 20 °C and pH of 7.2 was 0.134 mg/L.
