Description of key information

With high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic algae. No acute toxic effects occur within the range of solubility.

Additional information

In a study conducted according to OECD guideline 201 (RCC, 2000c) the ErC50 after 72 hours of exposure was determined as > 100 mg/L based on nominal test item concentrations. However, due to the low water solubility, a water accommodated fraction was prepared and the recovery in the highest tested concentration was only 0.0109 mg/L. The water solubility was determined to be < 0.046 mg/L (which was the LOQ in the water solubility study). Therefore the result of the study is considered as: No toxicity in the range of solubility of the test item.
