Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance does not hydrolyse and is not readily nor inherently biodegradable. The water solubility of the substance is low (15 mg/L at 20 °C) and the vapour pressure is relatively high (10 Pa at 20 °C). The Henry's Law constant of 162.6 Pa.m3/mol indicates that the substance is likely to evaporate quickly from water surfaces, and it is anticipated that substance released to water is rapidly lost to the atmosphere.

The Koc of the substance was determined to be 1660 L/kg by the HPLC method, which indicates that the substance is likely to bind to soil or sediment particles, to some extent, resulting in relatively low mobility of the substance. Based on the experimental log Kow of the substance of 4.4, the substance is unlikely to bioaccumulate significantly. An in vivo bioaccumulation study with fish carried out in a flow-through regime confirmed that the substance does not bioaccumulate significantly (maximum growth-corrected kinetic BCF of 1679 L/kg) and is rapidly removed from the body with a DT50 value of approximately 1.22 days after cease of exposure.
